I think I'm going through a crisis. The few pages that I've memorized so far are not a result of my regular practice, but of an impulsive start with little hope now to keep it up. Perhaps I need some time to calm down, think the thing over and start all over again with better energy and ideas. What is definitely missing is a schedule with a part of material to be learnt every day (and me desperate to devote 30 minutes to complete the task, as it is with the online course -> see below).

Keep your fingers crossed for me, but I dare say I'm doing fine. I try to practise every day. Obviously, the more often you do it, the better it goes. And then you get enough motivation to continue. Still, I don't believe you can obtain a higher level of whatever language talking to a computer only. Sooner or later, you'll need that human to interact with freely.
P.S. At this stage I find watching films surprisingly helpful when comes to remembering single words (although I can fish out only few). At last you get a real context!
